Our Top 10 Favorite Interior Designers in Dallas

Sees Design, Royal Project, Photographer: Nathan Schroder

Okay, real talk, making this list was hard. Dallas is stacked with incredible design talent, and picking just 10 felt a little like being asked to name your favorite child. But we did it anyway, because we love a good excuse to talk about design we're obsessed with.

So how'd we choose? We looked at style (obviously), but also the stuff that doesn't always make it into a portfolio: team culture, values, and how these studios actually treat their clients. Because let's be honest, a gorgeous living room means a lot less if the process to get there was a nightmare.

And some of these? We've worked up close with them, or with clients of ours who have. So this isn't just admiration from afar; we've seen the behind-the-scenes, and these teams are the real deal.

Here they are, our 10 favorites, in no particular order (don't make us rank them, we're already stressed enough):

1. Erin Sander Interiors
Warm, cozy, and somehow always chic.

Erin's spaces feel like homes people actually want to hang out in, not just photograph. Her team is detail-obsessed in the best way, staying dialed into each client's lifestyle and favorite color palette from day one, and carrying that thread through every single room. They're also just really thoughtful people; when a project wraps, they'll surprise the client with a little something for their open house.

2. Jean Liu Design
Polished, worldly, effortlessly cool.

Like the friend who somehow always knows exactly what to wear at each occasion. Jean Liu's interiors are calm and grounded, built around soft, earthy palettes that feel pulled straight from nature.

3. Urbanology Designs
Modern, sleek, and curated down to the last throw pillow.
Nothing here happens by accident. What really sets them apart is how they play with shape; curves show up everywhere, from a cozy little reading nook to a fun sculptural cabinet or a wall of playful paneling. There's always some unexpected detail waiting to be discovered.

4. Deborah Walker Interiors
Classic but never boring.

Deborah has a real gift for working with serious collectors, weaving a client's existing art into the bones of a home rather than designing around it. If you've spent years building a collection you love, she's the one who'll make sure it feels like it belongs there.

5. MMaison Interiors
Comfort-first, craftsmanship always.

Spaces that feel collected over time, not staged for a photoshoot. It's the kind of design that ages well, rooms built to actually be lived in, not just admired.

6. Seesdesign
Small but mighty

This boutique studio brings serious editorial energy to every project. A tight-knit team means a hands-on process from concept to final styling.

7. Denise McGaha Interiors
Bold. Layered. A little maximalist, in the best way.

Every room feels like it has something to say. Denise loves mixing old with new, weaving antiques into every space like they were always meant to be there. And she's genuinely one of the most fun people to work with, especially if you're a dog person like she is. Her rule of thumb? "I just work with clients that have pets; that says a lot about a client."

8. Angeline and Co. Interiors
The kind of team that sweats the small stuff so you don't have to.

Detail-obsessed, in the most charming way. They're also genuinely fun to work with; the kind of team that keeps everyone laughing and feeling fully in the loop, from the core design team to the photographers, home organizers, and stylists brought in along the way. Honestly, just scroll their Instagram reels—you'll get it immediately.

9. Avrea and Company
Luxury that still feels livable.

Beautiful finishes, but you could still put your feet up on the couch, a balance that's harder to pull off than it looks.

10. Collins Interiors
A little more modern, a little more bold

Collins isn't afraid of color. Where a lot of Dallas design leans neutral, they'll reach for a brighter palette and make it feel effortless, not loud.

So there you have it, our 10 favorite luxury design teams in Dallas, chosen with equal parts admiration and bias (we're only human). If you're planning a project, any name on this list is a safe bet.
